    Term 3 of our language classes commence on 18 July 2017 and the final class is on 19 September. 

    There are 10 classes in total, each lasting 2 hours. There are a number of class levels. If you are unsure which class you should be in, or if you believe your need to move levels, please contact our language team at language@aiav.org.au. 

    It is essential that participants in the beginners class attend from the first week of term.

    Language class enrolment is available for AIAV members only. If you are not yet a member, click here to register as a member first. Then return to this page to enrol for classes. 

    Variable registration (part of a term):

    This option is for AIAV members who cannot attend a full term of classes. It is essential that you first discuss this with our language team (email language@aiav.org.au) and make a payment agreement. 

    This option is not available for those starting the Beginner level class. 

    After logging in, click on this link to access the partial term payment page and pay for the number of classes you will be attending. This page is not accessible unless you are an AIAV member and are logged in. 

    AIAV reserves the right to reject and refund partial term payments made without prior agreement.

    • Taradale

    This is our very special annual Siang Ngobrol held in the bushy surrounds of Prue and Peter Price's property in Taradale, approximately 100 km northwest of Melbourne. AIAV members and friends are joined by members of BAIK (Bendigo Australian Indonesian Klub) for a great afternoon of food and drink (BYO), chatting (mengobrol) and possibly a performance by the BAIK gamelan. Guests are welcome. Past events have included special appearances by emus and koalas.

    As usual, please bring some food to share. A barbecue is available.

    Address: 190 Dearden Creek Track, Taradale 

    Directions: Taradale is between Malmsbury and Elphinstone on the Calder Highway (Melway Ref: 609 E7)

    • In Taradale turn into Old Drummond Rd (near the school bus stop). Drive for 2 km until you reach a T-intersection. 
    • Turn right at this intersection (the continuation of Old Drummond Rd). 
    • Almost immediately (after 100 metres), turn right into Dearden Creek Track. 
    • Continue along Dearden Creek Track (into Fryers Ranges Nature Conservation Reserve) for 1.9 km. 
    • Turn right where you see Prue’s sign and drive in, over the bridge and to the house.
